Job Title : Sr. Support Engineer - Cyber Security

Job Location : Remote/Hybrid (Bangalore, India)

What you will do :

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Engineer (Security) to join our Bangalore team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and resolving complex technical issues for our clients, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and service quality.

It would involve Linux and Windows commands, network troubleshooting, application/system configuration settings, SAST tool config, and setups, talking to clients, helping them resolve technical issues within SLA, and so on.

Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Troubleshooting : Handle complex technical issues related to our security products, including cloud and on-premises solutions.

Customer Support : Provide advanced support to clients, managing critical incidents, and ensuring timely resolution of high-severity issues.

Knowledge Base Management : Contribute to and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base with detailed documentation of common issues and : Work closely with the product, R&D, and customer success teams to escalate and resolve critical issues, and to improve product : Mentor junior support engineers, providing guidance and training to enhance their technical skills and service delivery capabilities.

Shift Management : Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 support :

- Bachelor's degree : BCA/B.Sc (IT)/B.Tech

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role, preferably in the cybersecurity domain.

- Good Network troubleshooting Knowledge

- Working knowledge of Linux commands

- Proficiency in Windows, and/or Linux.

- Strong troubleshooting skills in authentication and authorization (AuthN & AuthZ), network issues, and log analysis.

- Experience in handling scan failures/issues, false positive findings, and triaging issues.

Certifications : Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent is preferred.

Soft Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Good to have :

- AppSec Background (good to have)

- Basic understanding of OWASP, DAST, API

- Knowledge of Application Security (AppSec) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).

- Proficiency in OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and general knowledge of :

- Employees should be ready to work in US shift timings.

- 24/7 support

- Willing to work on weekends and Holidays
