Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer with strong conceptual thinking, brand understanding, and visual storytelling ability to lead creative design across social media, branding, and video production campaigns.

This is a senior creative role that requires not just design expertise, but also strategic communication with both national and international clients to align visual direction with brand goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the conceptualization and visual design of branding, social media, and video production campaigns.
2. Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and production teams to translate ideas into visual experiences.
3. Participate in client discussions, creative pitches, and presentations with both Indian and international clients.
4. Supervise and mentor designers and editors to ensure design quality and consistency.
5. Work directly with the Creative Director and MD to develop visual strategies for campaigns and studio projects.
6. Oversee post-production design elements, including titles, motion treatments, and brand packaging.
7. Explore and implement AI-powered creative tools for concept generation, layout enhancement, or workflow automation.
8. Stay current with industry trends in design, motion, and emerging creative technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Design, or equivalent.
2. 5+ years of experience in creative design, branding, or visual direction.
3. Proven experience leading visual campaigns across digital and video platforms.
4. Strong storytelling, conceptual, and layout design capabilities.
5. Excellent visual communication and attention to aesthetic detail.
6. Comfortable presenting ideas and receiving feedback from cross-functional and client teams.

Language & Communication Proficiency

• Language Proficiency: English (Required)
• Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively with both Indian and international clients, interpret creative briefs, and articulate design decisions clearly to diverse audiences.
• Should be confident in representing creative work during client meetings, online presentations, and production discussions.

Tools & Technical Proficiency

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
• Figma or equivalent collaborative design tool.
• Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve or color workflows (preferred).
• Exposure to AI-powered design and video tools (e.g., Midjourney, RunwayML, Firefly, ChatGPT, or similar) is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of typography, storyboarding, color grading, and visual composition.
• Experience with 3D tools (Blender, Cinema4D) is a plus.

A Day at Cocoma Digital – Senior Graphic Designer

Your day begins with a creative sync meeting — reviewing live projects and visual directions with the design, content, and marketing teams. Mid-morning might include a brainstorming session for a new brand identity or an international client pitch.

Afternoons are for execution: designing, refining visuals, reviewing edits, or collaborating with the video production unit. You may wrap up the day in a quick feedback loop with editors and motion artists, ensuring every frame aligns with the campaign’s vision.
