A major global technology services provider is seeking an experienced SailPoint & Aveksa IAM Engineer for a 12-month freelance engagement, with a strong likelihood of extension. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on identity engineer who excels in designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale identity governance platforms in a modern, high-security environment.


Job Title: SailPoint Engineer

Location: Hyderabad - Hybrid

Start Date: ASAP


Key Responsibilities

  • Engineer, configure, and maintain SailPoint IdentityIQ / IdentityNow and Aveksa (RSA IGL) solutions across the full identity lifecycle.
  • Develop and customize workflows, rules, policies, connectors, forms, and provisioning logic within SailPoint and Aveksa.
  • Implement integrations with enterprise applications, cloud services, databases, and directory environments (AD, LDAP).
  • Design and optimize role models, access policies, provisioning tasks, and automated governance processes.
  • Support identity lifecycle operations including onboarding, offboarding, access requests, certifications, entitlement reviews, and segregation of duties.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and ensure the platform’s performance, reliability, and security.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, upgrades, migrations, patches, and ongoing engineering improvements.
  • Maintain alignment with security controls, compliance standards, and IAM best practices.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on IAM engineering experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ/IdentityNow and Aveksa (RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle).
  • Deep understanding of IAM concepts: RBAC, authentication, authorization, access governance, and entitlement management.
  • Strong technical skills in Java, Beanshell, REST APIs, SQL, and scripting languages (Python/PowerShell preferred).
  • Proven experience in large-scale, complex enterprise environments.
  • Ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, clearly articulating technical impacts and design decisions.
