Principal BIM Technician-Bridges
Location- Noida, Bangalore, Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Capable of developing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans (BEP) for infrastructure projects. A thorough knowledge of BEP with associated appendices, Level of Development (LOD), and project delivery standards is a must.
- Coordinate BIM efforts across all project teams, ensuring adherence to BIM standards and protocols.
- Monitor and support data collection processes for Project information Models (PIM) and Asset Information Models (AIM).
- Utilize Civil 3D for data shortcuts, reference objects, and utility design.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective BIM implementation.
- Provide regular progress updates to the project delivery teams.
- Support Project BIM Lead in coordinating with all external & internal stakeholders.
- Support the project team in day-to-day BIM activities and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop, manage, and coordinate 3D BIM models using ACC’s BIM Collaboration Spaces.
- Lead clash detection using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ACC and other BIM tools based on the project tailored Model federation & Segregation Strategy.
- Ensure the designs comply with project requirements, standards, and codes.
- Facilitate coordination meetings, resolving design conflicts and model discrepancies.
- Review models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project BIM requirements.
- Implement and enforce BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
- Generate detailed coordination reports, clash reports, and model status updates.
- Prepare weekly progress BIM reports.
- Provide guidance and technical support to project teams on BIM-related issues.
