Test Engineer- Selenium/POSTMAN

Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and security.

- Conduct functional, regression, and usability tests to identify defects and ensure product quality.

- Design and implement automated test suites using Selenium, Postman, and other automation tools.

- Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter and PerfMon to evaluate system performance and scalability.

- Conduct API security testing to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, define test scenarios, and prioritize testing activities.

- Conduct requirement analysis to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business objectives.

- Perform usability testing to evaluate the user experience and identify areas for improvement.

- Conduct migration testing to ensure smooth transitions between software versions or platforms.

- Document and track defects using issue tracking tools such as Jira and Redmine, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in testing, and recommend process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in software testing, with expertise in Selenium, Postman, and other testing tools.

- Strong knowledge of web technologies, TCP/IP networking fundamentals, and RESTful/API web services.

- Experience with version control systems like Tortoise SVN and issue tracking tools like Jira and Redmine.

- Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server.

- Solid understanding of software testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Passion for quality assurance and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
