Role Description :

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Enterprise Content Management Consultant at Sedin Technologies.

The Consultant will be responsible for consulting services on Documentum Lifesciences solutions.

The role is based in Chennai with flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications :

- Experience in Life Sciences projects in Documentum D2, LSQM, R&D, SSV.

- Must have involved in Development phase.

- Strong knowledge on Documentum Fundamentals.

- Expertise in developing Custom Plugins, Java Methods, DFC etc.

- Expertise in LifeSciences domain.

- Knowledge in HA, DC-DR configuration of Documentum is preferrable.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Result Areas (KRAs) :


Client Success :


- Successfully consult with clients on Documentum Life Sciences solutions, including Documentum D2, LSQM, R&D, and SSV.


-Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality solutions that meet their specific business needs and objectives.


- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients after implementation.


Technical Expertise :


- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Documentum fundamentals, including architecture, components, and functionalities.


- Develop and implement custom plugins, Java methods, and DFCs to enhance Documentum functionality within Life Sciences projects.


- Possess in-depth knowledge of the Life Sciences domain and its specific document management requirements.


Project Management & Execution :


- Actively participate in the development phase of Life Sciences projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.


- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (developers, project managers) and external clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.


- Oversee and manage the configuration of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for Documentum deployments (preferred).


Communication & Collaboration :


- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.


- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during implementation.


- Work effectively within a team environment and contribute to a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.


Qualifications :


- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) consulting, preferably with a focus on Documentum solutions.


- Proven experience in Life Sciences projects involving Documentum D2, LSQM, R&D, and SSV.


- Strong understanding of Documentum fundamentals, including architecture, components, and functionalities.


- Expertise in developing custom plugins, Java methods, and DFCs to extend Documentum functionalities.


- In-depth knowledge of the Life Sciences domain and its document management requirements.


- Experience configuring High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for Documentum deployments (preferred).


- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.


- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
