About the Company

We are establishing a solar cell manufacturing plant focused on advanced, sustainable, and high-efficiency technologies. As part of our rapid expansion, we are seeking a skilled Gas & Chemical Specialist to support safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the supply, storage, distribution, and handling of specialty gases and chemicals used in solar cell manufacturing (e.g., silane, phosphine, hydrogen, acids, solvents).
  • Monitor gas cabinets, bulk gas storage systems, and chemical delivery systems to ensure continuous and safe operations.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas and chemical distribution equipment.
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and EHS teams to ensure strict safety compliance.
  • Support installation and commissioning of gas distribution lines, scrubbers, abatement systems, and chemical delivery units.
  • Maintain MSDS/SDS documentation and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Lead chemical spill response, leak management, and emergency handling protocols.
  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking and replenishment planning for critical gases and chemicals.
  • Train operators and technicians on safe chemical and gas handling procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or relevant field.
  • 3–8 years’ experience in gas handling, chemical management, or facility operations—preferably in solar, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of hazardous gas systems (toxic, flammable, pyrophoric) and chemical safety practices.
  • Hands-on experience with gas cabinets, VMB/VMP systems, abatement units, and chemical distribution equipment.
  • Familiarity with ISO norms, EHS standards, and emergency response procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in solar cell / semiconductor fabs.
  • Knowledge of PLC/SCADA-based facility monitoring systems.
  • Certification in chemical handling or hazardous gas management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
