Position: Java Developer

Location: Bengaluru OR Gurugram (Hybrid 2x Onsite)

Duration: 18 month contract

PR: $9 - $13/hr USD (₹800 - ₹1200 INR)


Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development (maintenance or support-heavy).
  • Strong understanding of Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with application security, OWASP principles, and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, analyze, and fix security vulnerabilities and code risks in existing Java applications.
  • Perform code remediation to comply with security standards, vulnerability scans, and audit findings.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Security teams to validate fixes and ensure secure deployment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on frequent backouts, rollbacks, or failed deployments.
  • Implement safe rollback strategies and maintain system stability during remediation activities.
  • Review dependency libraries, frameworks, and configurations to ensure compliance with security baselines.
  • Participate in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality and secure code changes.
  • Document fixes, backout procedures, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.


Compensation:

$9/hr to $13/hr (₹800 - ₹1200 INR)


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
