Job Description :


Responsibilities :

Automation Development & Testing :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and automation frameworks (e., Selenium, Pytest) to test mortgage lending APIs for functionality, performance, and security.

- Identify automation opportunities within the mortgage lending process and develop automated solutions to streamline tasks and improve processing time.

- Implement data-driven testing strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage across various mortgage scenarios.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous delivery and quality assurance.

Technical Expertise & Collaboration :

- Possess a strong understanding of Python programming principles and best practices.

- Experience with API testing methodologies and tools (e., Postman, Rest Assured).

- Familiarity with mortgage lending domain knowledge and terminology is a plus.

- Collaborate effectively with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into automated solutions, and ensure successful implementation.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging automation tools and technologies within the mortgage lending industry.

Process Improvement & Analysis :

- Analyze current mortgage lending processes to identify inefficiencies and potential areas for automation.

- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement through automation initiatives.

- Monitor and analyze automation test results to identify potential issues and ensure mortgage processing accuracy.

Technical Skills (Required) :

- 5+ years of experience in automation testing using Python.

- Solid understanding of API testing principles and practices.

- Experience with automation frameworks (e., Selenium, Pytest) is a plus.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and concepts is a plus.

- Knowledge of version control systems (e., Git) is a plus.

Domain Knowledge (Preferred) :

- Understanding of mortgage lending processes and terminology.

Qualities & Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Passion for automation and continuous improvement
