Job Description :


We are seeking a talented Individual to join our team and play a crucial role in building and maintaining our big data infrastructure. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in programming languages and big data technologies to design, develop, and implement data pipelines that deliver clean and accessible data for analysis.

Responsibilities :

Data Ingestion and Processing :

- Design and build data pipelines using tools and technologies like Apache Spark to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.

- Cleanse and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

- Develop and implement data quality checks and monitoring processes.

Big Data Technologies :

- Utilize your 2-4 years of experience in the big data tech stack, including Java/Scala (2-4 years), Spark (1-4 years), and Databricks (1-2 years) to build scalable and performant data processing solutions.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in big data technologies and explore new tools and frameworks.

Cloud Platform :

- Apply your 1-3 years of experience with Azure cloud platform to manage and provision data resources in the cloud.

- Leverage Azure services like Data Lake Storage, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics for data storage, processing, and analytics.

Database Management :

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of SQL for querying and manipulating data in relational databases.

Additional Skills :

- Experience with UI development (a plus) can be beneficial for creating data visualization dashboards or user interfaces for data exploration.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (data analysts, data scientists).

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 2-4 years of experience working as a Data Engineer or similar role.

- Strong development background with experience in Java or Scala (2-4 years).

- Experience with Apache Spark for big data processing (1-4 years).

- Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and its data services (1-3 years).

- Strong SQL skills for database querying and manipulation.
