Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BPC Backend Developer with expertise in SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP BPC development, configuration, and implementation. As a SAP BPC Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend components of SAP BPC solutions to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient BPC solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP BPC Development :

- Design, develop, and implement backend components of SAP BPC solutions using SAP BPC scripting languages (e.g. SAP Business Rules Framework Plus - BRF+).

- Customize and enhance standard SAP BPC functionalities to meet specific business requirements and optimize performance.

Data Modeling and Integration :

- Design and implement data models in SAP BPC to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.

- Integrate SAP BPC with other SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP BW, external databases) to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

BPC Configuration and Administration :

- Configure SAP BPC environments, dimensions, models, and security settings based on business requirements and best practices.

- Perform routine administration tasks such as user management, data loading, and system monitoring to ensure smooth operation of SAP BPC systems.

Report and Analysis :

- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analysis tools in SAP BPC to provide insights into financial performance and trends.

- Implement custom calculations, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business logic to support financial analysis and decision-making.

Performance Optimization :

- Identify performance bottlenecks in SAP BPC solutions and implement optimizations to improve system response time and data processing efficiency.

- Conduct performance tuning activities such as data aggregation, indexing, and query optimization to enhance overall system performance.

Testing and Quality Assurance :

- Develop test cases and perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate SAP BPC solutions against business requirements.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards, coding guidelines, and best practices in SAP BPC development and configuration.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing :

- Create technical documentation, including design documents, configuration guides, and training materials, to facilitate knowledge transfer and future maintenance.

- Share expertise and provide guidance to other team members on SAP BPC development and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.

- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP BPC development, configuration, and implementation.

- Proficiency in SAP BPC scripting languages (e.g., BRF+), SAP BPC administration, and data modeling.

- Experience with SAP BPC integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.

- Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP ECC/ S/4HANA is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- SAP BPC certification is desirable but not required.
