Job Title : Backend Engineer ( Spring Boot , Kotlin)

Experience : 5 - 8 years

Location : Hyderabad

Primary Skills : Java , spring boot , MVC , Kotlin , backBase

Roles and Responsibilities :

- You will help our Banking clients to create a new generation of digital financial services.

Your Tasks include :

- To write highquality code for the integration of mobile banking apps on platforms such as Backbase

- To provide input into the value proposition, solutioning, technical architecture and estimations for mobile banking projects and opportunities

- To adopt and evolve agile approaches, lightweight architectures and DevOps

- To create and extend the REST API integration into a modular backend and ensure reusability of code

- Your team will work according to agile methodologies and has a mindset of putting the client first.

Experience & Skills :

- Backend development experience with Kotlin

- Backend development experience Java8 and the Spring framework: Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot and Cloud is a plus

- Able to design new APIs based on Swagger/OpenAPI

- Experience with microservices architectures using Kafka, routing & conversion engines such as Apache Camel and design patterns (e.g. EIP) is a plus

- Experience with API Management platforms such as Mulesoft, apigee, Azure API Management, IBM API Connect, Tyk or Kong is a plus

- Experience with persistence frameworks such as Hibernate, JPA and RDBS is a plus

- Experience with Unit Testing tools such as JUnit and Mockito is a plus

- Experience with IAMs (e.g. Keycloak, WebIAM), Identity federation (e.g. SAML), standard security principles and open standards such as OAuth2 & OpenID is a plus

- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift as well as CI/CD pipelines with dependency management using Maven/Gradle is a plus

- Experience in agile methodologies is a plus

- Experience in the banking industry is a plus

- Flexibility about work location and willingness to travel abroad for a 34 days every 23 months

- Fluent in English

- People development and team building skills

- Training and coaching skills

- Able to present solution approach and own solutions in a clear and receiver adapted manner
