Position : Cisco Wireless Engineer.

Overview :

- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cisco Wireless Engineer to join our team.

- The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in wireless networking, with a strong focus on Cisco wireless solutions and Ekahau tools.

- The role involves conducting wireless surveys, creating heat maps, and ensuring optimal wireless network performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain wireless network solutions using Cisco technologies.

- Conduct site surveys using Ekahau tools to assess and optimize wireless network performance.

- Create detailed heat maps and coverage reports to ensure optimal wireless coverage and capacity.

- Troubleshoot and resolve wireless network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand wireless networking needs and requirements.

- Develop and document wireless network designs, configurations, and standards.

- Stay updated with the latest developments in wireless technologies and Cisco products.

- Provide technical support and training to end-users and other IT staff as needed.

Key Skills and Qualifications :

- Cisco Wireless: Strong hands-on experience with Cisco wireless solutions, including configuration, deployment, and management.

- Ekahau: Proficient in using Ekahau tools for wireless site surveys, planning, and analysis.

- Wireless Surveys: Experience conducting wireless site surveys to assess network performance and coverage.

- Heat Maps: Skilled in creating and interpreting heat maps to optimize wireless network performance.

- Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex wireless networking issues.

- Network Design: Knowledge of wireless network design principles and best practices.

- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA Wireless, CCNP Wireless, or Ekahau Certified Survey Engineer (ECSE) are a plus.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
