Job Purpose:
As a Duty Manager, he will be responsible for managing day-to-day cinema operations, driving team performance, and upholding the highest standards of customer service. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth execution across all departments during your shift while maintaining a safe, clean, and guest-friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cinema operations, including box office, concession, and floor
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols
- Handle guest escalations promptly and professionally
- Monitor staff performance and provide regular coaching
- Support in planning rosters, managing inventory, and reporting daily sales
- Ensure timely opening and closing of the property
- Lead by example and foster a positive team culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role in hospitality, QSR, or retail
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
- Familiarity with POS systems, reporting tools, and basic operational metrics
- Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
