About the Role

We are looking for a Business & Finance Evaluator to assess and qualify professional freelancers applying under business, consulting, and finance service categories.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business planning, financial modeling, corporate strategy, consulting, and project operations. Your role will be to review freelancer portfolios, assess their technical expertise, verify the authenticity of work, and make structured evaluation decisions for approval or rejection.

You’ll play a key part in maintaining marketplace quality standards by ensuring that only verified, skilled professionals are approved in the Business Development and Finance categories.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pro Evaluation (Freelancer Vetting)

• Evaluate freelancer applications across the following business and finance service categories:
• Business Development: Business Plans, Market Research, Business Consulting, AI Consulting, Sales, Business Formation & Registration.
• Business Operations: Project Management, E-Commerce Management, HR Consulting, CRM Management, Legal Consulting, Presentations.
• Strategic Finance: Corporate Finance Strategy, Financial Modeling, Fractional CFO Services, Fundraising Consultation, Investment Advisory.
• Operational Finance: Bookkeeping, Tax Consulting, Budgeting & Forecasting, Pitch Decks & Funding Presentations.
• Review freelancers’ work samples, portfolios, and credentials for authenticity and expertise.
• Assess their financial acumen, business understanding, and consulting approach based on category standards.
• Score candidates on parameters such as strategic thinking, technical accuracy, communication clarity, and domain specialization.

2. Quality Control & Demotion Review

• Monitor performance metrics of approved professionals.
• Review client feedback, deliverables, and communication quality.
• Recommend demotion or quality status revision when work falls below expected standards.

3. Portfolio & Document Validation

• Verify freelancer claims related to past clients, certifications, or case studies.
• Validate pitch decks, financial models, or business documents submitted for evaluation.
• Identify plagiarism, outdated templates, or non-compliant consulting practices.

4. Reporting & Standardization

• Maintain structured evaluation reports and scoring sheets.
• Contribute to category-specific quality rubrics for consistent vetting.
• Share improvement insights to strengthen marketplace standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business consulting, finance, project management, or startup advisory.

Deep understanding of:

• Business Planning & Market Strategy.
• Financial Modeling & Valuation Techniques (Excel / Power BI).
• Fundraising & Pitch Deck Creation.
• Operational Consulting & CRM / E-commerce ecosystems.
• Ability to evaluate the credibility and structure of business proposals, reports, or financial plans.
• Excellent analytical, written, and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high ethical standards for evaluations.

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in content moderation, financial QA, or freelancer vetting.
• Awareness of startup ecosystems, SME consulting, and global financial standards.
• Familiarity with modern business tools (Notion, Asana, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.).
