Job Description : SAP HR ABAP Developer (SAP ECP Payroll Interfaces)

Position Overview :


We are seeking an experienced SAP HR ABAP Developer with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP HR ABAP development and a proven track record of working on SAP ECP (Employee Central Payroll) interfaces.

This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining SAP ECP payroll interfaces while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP ECP payroll interfaces.

- Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP HR ABAP solutions, specifically focusing on SAP ECP payroll interfaces.

- Configure and customize SAP ECP payroll integration scenarios to meet business needs while adhering to best practices.

- Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation within SAP HR ABAP for smooth and accurate data exchange between systems.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to SAP ECP payroll interfaces, ensuring timely resolution to maintain data integrity.

- Work closely with technical and functional teams to ensure the successful integration of SAP ECP payroll with other HR and related systems.

- Collaborate with SAP Basis and other technical teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the SAP ECP payroll interfaces.

- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in SAP HR ABAP and SAP ECP to suggest enhancements and improvements to existing solutions.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, specifications, and issue resolution guides.

- Working knowledge on BADI, IDocs, RFCs, etc.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP HR ABAP development.

- Strong expertise in SAP ECP (Employee Central Payroll) interfaces, including configuration, customization, and integration.

- Proficiency in ABAP programming language and development tools, with a focus on HR-related modules and functionalities.

- Knowledge of HR data structures, payroll processes, and integration points within SAP ECP.

- Experience with data mapping, transformation, and validation for data exchange between systems.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- SAP HR ABAP certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Familiarity with other SAP HR modules (such as Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management) is advantageous.

- Experience with integration technologies like Web Services, IDocs, and APIs.

- Previous exposure to Agile development methodologies.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of assigned tasks.
