Job Title: Graphic DesignerLocation: Target Publications, Thane (Wagle Estate)Department: CreativeReports To: Senior Graphic Designer / Project ManagerJob Overview:We're seeking a skilled and proactive Graphic Designer with a strong sense of aesthetics, creative thinking, and sharp communication skills. This role bridges the gap between Junior and Senior Designers - requiring both hands-on design expertise and coordination with freelancers. The ideal candidate will be adept in print and educational book design, demonstrate excellent comprehension of design briefs, and follow current design and Al trends to deliver creative, high-quality work aligned with brand objectives.Key Responsibilities:Design Development* Independently handle end-to-end design of small to medium projects, from concept to final artwork.* Create print materials such as educational book designs, layouts, kids' educational material, covers, brochures, catalogues, and publishing collaterals.* Support Senior Designers on complex projects by preparing design concepts, mockups, and final layouts.* Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, visual consistency, and production standards.Creative Execution & Trends- Develop visually engaging concepts through creative thinking and strong understanding of visual storytelling.* Stay updated with design trends, visual styles, and new creative tools in the publishing and design industry.* Explore and apply Al-based design tools and image-generation platforms to enhance creativity and efficiency.Collaboration & Coordination* Work closely with Senior Designers and the Project Manager to understand project objectives and deliverables.- Coordinate with freelancers and vendors to ensure design quality, consistency, and timely delivery.* Communicate effectively with internal teams, demonstrating clarity of thought and smart interpretation of design briefs.
