Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive engineer to lead vulnerability remediation efforts across Linux and Unix environments. This role involves deploying and managing Qualys agents, coordinating with stakeholders, and applying patches using both automated and manual methods to ensure system security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage Qualys agents across Linux/Unix systems.

• Remediate vulnerabilities using Qualys Patch Management and manual patching techniques.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to follow up on remediation actions, ensuring timely resolution.

• Build and configure Windows, Linux, and Unix systems as part of infrastructure hardening and lifecycle management.

• Monitor and report on vulnerability status, patch compliance, and remediation progress.

• Maintain documentation for remediation procedures, system builds, and stakeholder communications.

• Support audits and compliance initiatives by providing evidence of remediation activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Linux/Unix system administration and patching.

• Hands-on experience with Qualys Vulnerability Management and Patch Management modules.

• Familiarity with Windows system builds and patching.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple remediation tasks simultaneously.
