FrogData is part of a global automotive solutions company and is experiencing significant growth. We are seeking a Senior Python Data Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in establishing FrogData as a dominant player in the automotive analytics market.

Job Summary :


As a Senior Python Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of our core analytics platform built on an event-driven AWS SaaS architecture. You will leverage your expertise in Python and data engineering tools to build scalable, reliable, and intelligent systems that deliver valuable insights to our auto dealer customers.

Responsibilities :


- Develop and maintain core components of the FrogData platform using Python, pandas, AWS EventBridge, and AWS Step Functions.

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain a highly available, scalable, and autonomous data processing pipeline.

- Implement best practices for data engineering, including data quality, security, and performance optimization.

- Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Participate in the establishment of software development processes for efficient and reliable software delivery.

- Lead a team of software engineers and work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple countries and time zones.

Technical Skills :


- Proven experience in designing, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications.

- Expertise in Python programming, with strong proficiency in libraries like pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.

- Experience with building data pipelines in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).

- Familiarity with web development technologies like JavaScript, CSS, and HTML (a plus).

- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and relational databases (RDBMS).

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience :


- 4-15 years of relevant experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior engineers (a plus).

- Passion for the automotive industry and a desire to make an impact on our dealer customers (a plus).
