Position : Software Development/Engineering Manager

Summary :

As a Software Development Manager, you will oversee the development and deployment of high-quality software products. Your role involves ensuring that development teams adhere to modern engineering practices, deliver valuable products, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve business and engineering goals. Additionally, you will focus on enhancing team capabilities, increasing engagement, and minimizing business risks.

Responsibilities :

  • Build and lead high-performing teams with the necessary skills, tools, and resources to deliver high-quality software consistently.
  • Collaborate with Agile practitioners to eliminate distractions and ensure focus on sprint commitments.
  • Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Test Automation, across multiple scrum teams.
  • Develop individual growth plans for team members and offer mentorship opportunities.
  • Align teams with organizational goals and serve as a key communication channel between team members and senior leadership.
  • Provide timely feedback to team members and facilitate continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications :
  • B.E/B. Tech/MCA or equivalent professional degree
Experience :
  • 10+ years of experience in developing web-based enterprise software with Microsoft .NET technology stack.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams of software engineers and working effectively across diverse cultures.
  • Strong knowledge of modern architectural and design patterns.
  • Expertise in automation testing and modern testing practices such as TDD and BDD.
  • Proficiency in C#, modern UI technologies, and database/ORM technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence decisions.
