This role is pivotal in shaping technical strategy, ensuring solutions are robust and scalable, and fostering alignment between engineering and business objectives. The Technical Lead manages the technical team’s daily work, ensuring code quality, collaboration, and efficient delivery through strong technical leadership and process discipline.Responsibilities:Ensure code quality and enforce adherence to established engineering standards across the teamOversee and participate in code reviews, delivering constructive feedback to support continuous improvementDelegate tasks, track progress, and provide mentorship to team members to facilitate professional growthLead regular team meetings, cultivating open and effective communicationIdentify and implement process enhancements to drive efficiency and resolve operational challengesServe as the primary point of contact for the team’s daily activities and facilitate collaboration with other functionsProvide architectural leadership, designing and validating technical solutions that meet both current and future needsLead the development and evolution of system architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practicesCollaborate extensively with other teams and stakeholders to coordinate dependencies, share knowledge, and drive integrated solutionsMaintain comprehensive oversight of all technical aspects within their remit, serving as the primary source of information for both current state and future directionEngage with product management early in the development process to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business valueCommunicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences, confidently presenting plans and responding to roadmap inquiriesBalance technical rigor with pragmatic decision-making, adapting solutions to meet business priorities when necessaryMentor engineers, fostering technical growth and promoting high standards across the teamQualifications:Demonstrated excellence in software architecture and technical leadership (10-12 Years)Broad experience across multiple domains (e.g., front-end, back-end, DevOps, SRE, QA)Experience with cloud platforms and microservice architecturesProficiency with relational and non-relational databasesExperience in agile methodologiesProven ability to lead cross-team initiatives and drive collaborative outcomesStrong business acumen and ability to align technical strategy with organizational objectivesExceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging diverse audiencesExperience in enterprise software development (nice to have)Experience with Python or other backend languagesExperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (nice to have)Experience with Kubernetes (nice to have)Experience with emerging AI technologiesEqual Opportunity Statement: WPP is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without discrimination or regard to particular characteristics.
