Responsibilities :

- Assist the IT manager in overseeing the daily operations of the IT department, including infrastructure management, system administration, network security, and user support.

- Collaborate with IT staff to develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT systems and services.

- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, helpdesk technicians, and support staff, to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

- Coordinate IT projects and initiatives, including system upgrades, software deployments, network expansions, and infrastructure enhancements, to meet business requirements and deadlines.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve IT infrastructure, streamline operations, and enhance user productivity and satisfaction.

- Monitor IT performance, service levels, and security posture, and implement measures to address issues, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their IT needs and requirements, and provide guidance and support in implementing technology solutions to meet their objectives.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT management, and participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Strong technical background and expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, network security, and cloud technologies.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of IT governance frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to IT security, privacy, and compliance.

- Experience with IT project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, and a track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget.

Skills :

- Leadership : Strong leadership and people management skills to motivate and guide a team, foster collaboration, and drive results.

- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate effective communication within the IT team.

- Technical Expertise : Solid technical background and expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, network security, and cloud technologies.

- Project Management : Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to plan, execute, and monitor IT projects effectively.

- Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve IT issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

- Collaboration : Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to achieve common goals and objectives.

Preferred :

- Certification in IT management or related areas (e.g. ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CCNA).

- Experience with IT budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.

- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity.
