Senior Data Engineer

Location – Gurugram | Hyderabad | Noida

Designation – Lead/Manager – Data Engineering-

60% Through Overall Education

Job Requirement:

  • 8+ years of experience in data management.
  • Proven hands-on experience with ETL processes
  • Candidate must have extensive hands-on experience with Pyspark/Python and a strong background in ETL jobs / processes.
  • Strong expertise in data governance, data catalog, data quality frameworks, business rules implementation, data profiling, data ingestion, data processing and data integration.
  • Prior experience in the Life Sciences industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Experience with data profiling, data quality management, and business rules implementation.
  • Proficient in SQL, ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Matillion, ADF, Glue) and Python/Pyspark, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes
  • Translate business requirements into ETL designs and mapping specifications.
  • Understand and interpret data interactions and dependencies in complex data models.
  • Collaborate with data architects, modelers, and IT team members on project goals.
  • Perform testing and validation of ETL processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ETL process failures, performance issues, and data quality issues.
  • Provide technical assistance and cross-training to other team members.
  • Document ETL processes, procedures, and activities for future reference.


Qualification: -

  • BE/ B. Tech/BCA /M Tech/MBA/MCA with 60%+
