Job description :

Role & responsibilities :

1. Data Collection: Gather data from various sources such as databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and other repositories.

2. Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Scrub, clean, and organize raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency. This might involve handling missing values, removing duplicates, and standardizing formats.

3. Data Analysis: Use statistical methods, algorithms, and data analysis tools (like Excel, SQL, Python, R, or specialized software) to interpret and analyze data. This could involve generating descriptive statistics, performing regression analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling.

4. Data Visualization: Create visual representations (charts, graphs, dashboards) of data to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders and decision-makers.

5. Identifying Trends and Patterns: Explore data to discover trends, patterns, and correlations that can provide valuable insights for business strategies or process improvements.

6. Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations based on data analysis.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization, including business analysts, data scientists, and management, to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

8. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of data by implementing validation checks and data quality processes.

9. Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay updated with the latest tools, techniques, and industry trends in data analysis and continuously seek ways to improve processes and methodologies.

10. Problem-Solving: Use analytical skills to address business problems, make data-driven decisions, and propose solutions based on data insights.
