Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Network Engineer/Administrator to join our team and play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of our network systems, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and scalability.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network components.

- Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and troubleshooting network congestion, latency, and connectivity issues.

- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS) to safeguard network integrity.

- Lead network upgrade projects and ensure smooth migration to new technologies.

- Automate network tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to improve efficiency.

- Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices.

- Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and troubleshoot user-related network issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

- 5+ years of experience in network administration or engineering (or 3-5 years with relevant certifications)

- Proven ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex network solutions

- In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and network security principles

- Experience with network operating systems (e.g., Cisco IOS, JUNOS) and network management tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- A proactive and results-oriented approach

Desired Skills & Certifications :

- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent network engineering certifications

- Experience with cloud networking concepts (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network)

- Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
