About the Role:


We are looking for a passionate and creative Assistant Fashion Designer to support our design team in developing ethnic, couture, and contemporary fashion collections. The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail, a strong understanding of fabrics and embellishments, and a deep appreciation for Indian craftsmanship.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the development of new collections across ethnic, fusion, and western couture lines.


  • Have a working knowledge of embroideries, fabrics, dyeing techniques, and hand block/screen printing.


  • Support the design process from concept to execution, including fabric sourcing, sampling, and coordination with production teams.


  • Contribute to styling and visual presentation for lookbooks, campaigns, and retail displays.


  • Stay updated with current trends and bring creative inputs to enhance design aesthetics.


  • Collaborate closely with the design and merchandising teams to ensure timely delivery of samples.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Graduate or Diploma in Fashion Design or Textile Design.


  • Prior experience or internship exposure in retail design, especially in casuals, formals, or ethnic wear, will be a plus.


  • Strong interest in Indian ethnic and ceremonial wear as well as western haute couture.


  • Excellent understanding of colors, silhouettes, and surface ornamentation.
