Job Title: SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant (Data Migration)

Duration: 12–15 months + extension

Location: Remote


Role Summary:

The SAP PM Asset Data Migration Lead acts as the global focal point for plant maintenance asset data during migration projects. The role ensures accurate collection, validation, and migration of PM master and transactional data, coordinating with global and local stakeholders across functional and technical teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own global PM asset data objects, coordinating with Template BDOs, Functional Streams, Data Migration Developers, and Legacy Experts.
  • Collect, review, and validate functional specifications for data migration tools.
  • Provide test datasets for migration tool testing and validation.
  • Guide business teams on data readiness, cleansing, and technical requirements.
  • Maintain and manage global templates and scripts (FSs, DDTs, SATs, DVSs), including validation, verification, and authorizations.
  • Review and approve SAT testing of migration tools and defect resolutions.
  • Conduct knowledge transfers to local Functional Data Owners and support deployment activities.


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) module, especially asset master data and functional locations.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP data migration projects (legacy to SAP S/4HANA or SAP-to-SAP).
  • Familiarity with data migration tools (SAP Data Services, LSMW, BODS, Syniti, etc.).
  • Experience managing PM master and transactional data, including equipment, functional locations, maintenance plans, and asset hierarchies.
  • Ability to coordinate across global teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing functional specifications, validation templates, and testing documentation.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical industry
