This role requires strong technical skills, knowledge of industry standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and clients.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop detailed and accurate mechanical millwork designs.Create 3D models and generate 2D drawings using CAD software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.Conduct site visits to take measurements and gather information needed for design development.Prepare material and hardware selection and produce accurate bills of materials.Optimize designs for functionality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to project requirements.Create production documents, including shop drawings, fabrication plans, and installation instructions.Review and modify designs based on feedback from team members, clients, and quality control inspections.Collaborate with the production team to address design-related issues during fabrication and installation.Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials to enhance design capabilities.Skills and competencies:AutoCAD expertise and ability to work on architectural and furniture drawings.Hands-on experience in panel optimization and production process management.Strong working knowledge of SAP, ERP tools, and 2020 Design Software for furniture design.Hitech Digital Solutions
