Overview :

We are looking for a skilled DataStage Developer with 2-4 years of experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to join our team.

As a DataStage Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL jobs and workflows using IBM DataStage.

Your expertise in DataStage and ETL methodologies will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient data integration and processing across our organization.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes and solutions using IBM DataStage.

- Create and maintain ETL jobs, sequences, and data flows to support data integration and transformation requirements.

- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business users to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.

- Monitor and optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data loading, transformations, and job failures.

- Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows.

- Participate in testing and validation of ETL processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.

- Stay updated with IBM DataStage features, patches, and enhancements.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 2-4 years of professional experience as a DataStage Developer or ETL Developer.

- Hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage in designing and developing ETL jobs.

- Proficiency in SQL and database concepts for data extraction, manipulation, and querying.

- Strong understanding of ETL methodologies, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling.

- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certification in IBM InfoSphere DataStage or related technologies.

- Familiarity with other ETL tools and technologies.

- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell scripting, etc.

- Understanding of cloud platforms and their integration with ETL processes
