What You’ll Do

  • Write engaging, clear, and impactful scripts for videos, podcasts, product explainers, and thought-leadership content.
  • Collaborate with founders, product, marketing, and video teams to translate complex tech/ SaaS concepts into compelling narratives.
  • Craft scripts for multiple formats: short-form social clips, long-form YouTube videos, event presentations, and product storytelling.
  • Ensure all scripts align with Emergent’s brand voice, tone, and storytelling style.
  • Research industry trends, audience behavior, and competitor content to create relevant, differentiated narratives.
  • Partner with video editors and designers to ensure scripts translate seamlessly into final visuals.
  • Edit and iterate scripts based on feedback while maintaining clarity, flow, and creativity.
  • Experiment with different content styles—educational, conversational, inspirational—to maximize engagement across platforms.


What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of professional scriptwriting experience, ideally in SaaS, B2B, or tech-driven environments.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to simplify technical or abstract concepts into relatable narratives.
  • Proven experience writing for video, audio, or multimedia content.
  • Excellent research, writing, and editing skills with an eye for detail and tone.
  • Ability to adapt writing style for different formats and audiences (founder-led content, social, product-focused, etc.).
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced teams.


Good to Have

  • Experience scripting for thought leadership or executive branding.
  • Familiarity with video production processes and how scripts translate to visuals.
  • Understanding of the creator economy, SaaS, or AI/ML trends.
  • Experience working in high-growth startups or creative agencies.
