Job Description responsibilities of the role :

Project Leadership and Management :


- Lead and manage Oracle CIS implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.


- This includes planning project stages, setting deadlines, and allocating resources effectively.


Technical Implementation :


- Provide technical guidance and support during the implementation of Oracle CIS solutions.


- This includes configuring and customizing the system to meet specific client needs and integrating it with other systems as required.

Risk Management :


- Identify potential risks to the project and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.


- This involves continuous monitoring and adapting plans as necessary to address new challenges as they arise.

Quality Assurance :


- Ensure the quality of the implemented solution by overseeing testing and validation processes.


- Address any defects or issues promptly to ensure the system meets all client and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement :


- Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.


- Facilitate regular meetings and updates to ensure all parties are aligned and informed about project progress and any issues.

Training and Support :


- Provide training and support to clients and their users to ensure they are fully equipped to use the new CIS system effectively.


- This includes creating user manuals, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing support after project completion.

Continuous Improvement :


- Seek opportunities to improve project management processes and implementation methodologies.


- Stay updated with the latest Oracle CIS features and industry trends to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Experience :

- 8+ years of overall technology experience

- 4+ years of experience relevant to this position including 2+ years of complex software systems integration project management experience with fixed bid project consulting budgets in excess of $1M.

- 5+ year of consulting experience in a professional services or systems integration organization

- Experience developing cost estimates for Professional Services efforts, as well as communicating value propositions.

- Agile Methodology experience.

- Experience creating and communicating SOW for new and existing customers.

- Excellent customer relationship savvy, including comfort interacting at the "C" level.

- Experience delivering presentations.

- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required.

- Must have proficiency in Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), Customer to Meter (C2M), Meter Data Management (MDM), or Customer Cloud Service (CCS) as applicable.

- Deep understanding of the Utilities value chain.

- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills are essential for interpreting complex business requirements and devising effective solutions.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are necessary for effective collaboration with diverse teams and clear presentation of solutions.

- Proficient project management abilities to oversee timelines, resources, and project deliverables efficiently.

- Capability to work independently and lead globally distributed teams.

Nice to Have :


- PMP, Six Sigma or other Project Management certifications is a plus.

- Should possess a strong grasp of the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) to steer the overall solution development.

- Skilled in various modules of CC&B/C2M/MDM for configuration, customization, and integration with other applications.

- A commitment to continuous learning to remain current with OUAF updates, new technologies, and industry trends.
