Job Title : Power BI Developer (Level 3).

Contract Duration : 6 Months.

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team for a 6-month mission.

As a Power BI Developer, you will play a critical role in proposing efficient solutions to business needs, integrating business-specific requirements, and delivering data models and visualizations that drive decision-making processes.

Responsibilities :

- Propose efficient solutions to meet business requirements.

- Expertly utilize Microsoft Power BI with a strong proficiency in DAX.

- Work with multiple data sources to customize and implement complex visualization techniques.

- Integrate business-specific needs from a technical solution design perspective and deliver effort estimates.

- Understand business requirements and build data models while managing different sources of data.

- Create wireframes, prototypes, and conduct requirement analysis.

- Solve problems effectively and communicate with multiple organizational functions and levels.

- Utilize knowledge of development using MicroStrategy, including reports, dashboards, dossiers, and RSD.

- Demonstrate a high sense of ownership and growth mindset, being self-directed.

- Analyze data creatively and visually represent it with adherence to standards and best practices.

Must-Have Skills and Requirements :

- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI.

- Strong expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

- Experience in complex customization with Power BI and data visualization.

- Ability to connect multiple data sources and perform data extraction in Power BI.

- Manage Power BI Premium Capacities (Cloud) and assign Workspaces, including Workspace and Group Management.

- Experience with Power BI Report Server and On-Prem Data Gateway installation, upgrades, and configurations.

- Deploy security integrations with Enterprise AD, Azure AD, SAML, and other next-gen IdP (Identity Providers).

- Proficiency in CMD and PowerShell scripting for automation.

- Knowledge of compliance, auditing, data privacy, data classification, security, and controlling access to Power BI.

- Implement Row-Level Security, restrict sharing and publishing, and manage app workspaces, apps, and content packs.

- Apply best practices for data import vs. direct connectivity, reuse of existing datasets, and file size management.

- Ability to collaborate with solutions and enterprise architects.

- Provide day-to-day administration, monitoring, and health checks.

- Experience with Power BI Service (SaaS).

- Nice to have experience with Power BI Embedded (PaaS).

- Proficiency in performance tuning, including caching techniques.

- Set up highly available Power BI infrastructure (cluster/standalone implementation).

- Report on usage and performance, manage auditing, and assign workspaces to capacity.

- Manage user permissions and configure memory usage for workloads.

- Upgrade Power BI servers and manage backups, recovery, and restoration.

- Hands-on experience with PowerPivot, Power Query, Power Apps, Excel, Pivots/Charts/grid, and Power View.

- Proficiency with DAX Studio and Power Query Editor.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of development using MicroStrategy.

- Experience working on reports, dashboards, dossiers, and RSD.

Experience : 3-5 Years


Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's degree.
