About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Science Specialist to join our team.

This role requires an individual with 8-10 years of experience in data science, who can leverage their expertise to drive data-driven decision-making and provide actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, data engineering, and the ability to communicate complex findings to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Data Analysis and Modeling : Lead the development of advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to extract insights from complex data sets and drive business outcomes.

- Data Engineering : Oversee the design and implementation of data pipelines and workflows to ensure data quality and availability for analysis.

- Machine Learning : Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

- Data Visualization : Create compelling and informative data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib to present findings and support decision-making.

- Business Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and executives, to understand business needs and translate them into data science solutions.

- Research and Innovation : Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and apply innovative techniques to solve complex problems.

- Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience : 8-10 years of professional experience in data science, with a strong track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.

Technical Skills :

- Programming Languages : Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis and model development.

- Machine Learning : Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks (e. , TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, natural language processing (NLP), and deep learning.

- Data Engineering : Experience with data engineering tools and platforms (e. , Apache Spark, Hadoop, SQL, NoSQL databases).

- Data Visualization : Expertise in data visualization tools (e., Tableau, Power BI) and libraries (e., matplotlib, seaborn).

- Statistical Analysis : Strong knowledge of statistical methods and techniques for data analysis and hypothesis testing.

- Big Data : Familiarity with big data technologies and platforms (e., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) is a plus.

- Analytical Skills : Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

- Communication Skills : Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Project Management : Experience managing data science projects from inception to completion, including defining objectives, delivering results, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Preferred Skills :

- Leadership : Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in leading data science teams and projects.

- Business Acumen : Understanding of business processes and the ability to align data science initiatives with strategic business objectives
