As a leading outsourcing partners, we are hiring a Data Engineer to work on a project for our client, which is the largest provider of telecoms and mobile money services in 14 countries spanning Sub-Saharan, Central, and Western Africa.



Purpose of role:


To design and build scalable, high-performance data solutions using modern big data technologies, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.



Job Details:


  • Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in data engineering
  • CTC Bracket: Competitive, aligned with industry standards
  • Qualification: BE / B Tech / MCA / BCA / MTech.
  • Location: Gurugram (WFO - 5 days)
  • Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days (Candidates with notice period of less than 30 days are preferred)


Mandatory Skills:


  • Strong hands-on experience with PySpark
  • Proven ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries
  • Experience with Hadoop is an added advantage


Skills Required:


  • Solid understanding of distributed data processing and big data architecture
  • Ability to write efficient, optimized, and scalable PySpark code
  • Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines (batch/streaming)
  • Knowledge of data modeling, performance tuning, and debugging
  • Good problem-solving skills with a focus on engineering robust data solutions



Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Develop and optimize large-scale data processing pipelines using PySpark
  • Work with Hadoop-based storage and processing frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver reliable datasets
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and performance across the data platform
  • Troubleshoot and improve existing data workflows for scalability and efficiency
