Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures that support our data-driven decision-making processes. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data infrastructure meets the needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to collect, process, and store large volumes of data from various sources.

- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data availability and quality.

- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve performance and efficiency.

- Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and resolve any issues that arise.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data engineering and analytics.

- Document data processes, architectures, and workflows for future reference and compliance.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

- Experience with data warehousing solutions (Amazon Redshift)

- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools

- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Master's degree in a related field.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)

- Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture principles.
