Job Description :

- Understand all forms of data integration including APIs - Event-based, Streaming, REST and GraphQL API, CDC/Replication, Batch, SFTP, OneDrive/SharePoint etc.

- Proven experience with off the shelf products like Fivetran, HVR, Stitch etc.

- Proven experience with developing integrations using cloud platforms like AWS. Including using API Gateways, event routers, event buses, queues, notification services etc.

- Able to design and build metadata driven integrations where possible.

- Proven experience with Data Warehouses and Data Lakes.


- Understands data management layers, medallion architecture, slowly changing dimensions, dimensional modelling etc.

- Suitable experience working with infrastructure teams to enable connectivity.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

- Must have excellent communication skills both written and spoken.

- Work autonomously on complex data engineering tasks and deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering roles, with a focus on data integration including Event-based APIs, Streaming, REST and GraphQL API etc.

- Must have strong proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining data integration solutions.

- Must have experience in designing and implementing Data Warehouses and Data Lakes

- Strong understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and best practices including the data pipeline.

- Must have understanding for data modeling, schema design, and data governance principles.

- Familiarity with cloud-based data integration services and tools.

- Good to have experience working in AWS cloud environments and utilizing relevant services for data engineering tasks.

- Good to have Python programming experience.

- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Good to have hands-on experience with DevOps practices, enabling seamless data engineering operations.

- Worked in Agile/Scrum lifecycle.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
