Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and strategic Area Executive – Channel Sales to support Angel Yeast’s multi-portfolio growth across the Indian market. This role will contribute to sales development across Angel Yeast’s key business divisions, including Yeast Baking, Yeast Extract (YE) Savory, Food Ingredients, Yeast Protein, Nutrition & Health, Animal Nutrition, Plant Nutrition, Frozen Dough, and Home Baking.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial understanding and technical awareness of the food ingredients, bakery, or biotechnology sectors, with proven experience in channel expansion, distributor management, and regional sales growth.
This position requires close coordination with marketing, technical service, R&D, and operations teams to support customer projects, product applications, and ensure effective market execution and business development at the area level.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve area sales targets and ensure effective coverage of assigned territories.
- Manage and support distributors, dealers, and channel partners to drive sales growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and assist in market development and product promotion.
- Work closely with technical and marketing teams to conduct product trials and customer presentations.
- Track and report competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy credit discipline.
- Regularly visit customers and partners to build strong business relationships.
- Participate in regional trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Prepare and submit periodic sales reports and business updates to the Regional Manager or Territory Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Adminstration, Food Technology, Science, or Business; MBA preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in channel sales, distribution, or business development within the food ingredients, food solutions, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with channel partners and customers.
- Good understanding of B2B distribution models and regional market dynamics.
- Should be a good team player.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned areas and regions in India.
