AI Computer Vision Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on AI Specialist and Consultant with deep expertise in Computer Vision to lead, architect, and deliver end-to-end solutions across industrial and surveillance domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in CV tools and frameworks, extensive project delivery experience, and client-facing capabilities for proposal development and solution consulting. Exposure to broader AI domains such as Predictive Analytics, Generative AI, and Agentic AI is a strong advantage.Roles and Responsibilities:Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of end-to-end computer vision applications, especially in industrial and CCTV, Drones, Fixed Camera-based scenarios.• Translate customer requirements and RFPs into effective technical proposals, solutions, and delivery plans.• Define and implement scalable architectures for edge-based and on-premise CV solutions, including integration with CCTV systems.Ensure production-readiness of applications through robust testing, optimization, and deployment strategies.• Lead cross-functional project teams through full lifecycle delivery (requirements, design, development, deployment, and post-production support).• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML, CV, and edge computing.• Act as a technical consultant and subject matter expert during client meetings, solutioning workshops, and proposal discussions.• Collaborate with pre-sales teams to develop technical responses to RFPs, scope of work, and implementation roadmaps.• Support business development activities through thought leadership, PoCs, and demos.• Contribute to expanding and sustaining the knowledge base through training and mentoring of peers and subordinates.• Establish technical performance benchmark.• Support the project team with estimates, schedules, and resource loading.• Develop solution architecture and generate draft for design reviews.• Help in developing project documentation and client training.• Explore and recommend emerging technologies in Generative AI, Predictive Analytics, and Agentic AI that could complement CV applications. (Nice to Have).• Should be able to analyze the images for an industrial complex like power plants, power distribution, refineries, petrochemicals, etc.• Ability to select the appropriate classified image libraries and algorithms to develop anomaly detection applications.• Should be able to program the application to automate the detection.• Should be well-versed in various imaging formats.• Assist in the installation and running of product demonstrations.• Test and reform algorithms to analyze video images and improve detection sensitivity.• Evaluate various state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and recommend the best fit on a case-to-case basis.• Develop and automate applications to support routine inspection through drones.• Port, implement, and optimize analytics and machine learning algorithms using special-purpose computing architectures.• Support and bug fixing for active applications at client sites.Experience:Minimum 12 years of overall industry experience with at least 8 years in AI/ML and Computer Vision.• At least 3 full-lifecycle implementations of computer vision projects (from requirement gathering to production deployment).• Proven experience in industrial CV applications (e.g., quality inspection, process monitoring) and CCTV-based use cases (e.g., surveillance, anomaly detection).• Hands-on deployment of computer vision solutions on edge servers (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Intel NUC).Demonstrated experience in technical consulting, RFP responses, proposal writing, and client management.• Prior experience in managing and delivering AI/ML projects, including team and timeline management.• Experience in the delivery of end-to-end analytical solutions (analyze, design, implement, test, and deploy) and implementation of AI and Advanced Analytics projects for Energy, Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Mining, Supply Chain, Utilities, Power, and Manufacturing industries.• Experience in leading a team and training young data scientists.• Good understanding of the AI ecosystem and capabilities• Exposure to data transformation and data structuring as part of model building• Building simple yet best-fit solution design or logic design for complex data challenges or industry use cases.• Hands-on experience with DevOps & ML Operation tools including version control tools such as GIT.• Understanding of information systems security and network architecture• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to face and interact with clients and deliver technical solutions, demonstrations and presentations.• Experience in industrial computer vision applications using AI for tasks such as object detection and tracking.• Experience working with GIS aerial drone-based and satellite-based data analytics and modeling for anomaly detection is nice to have.• Experience in Computer Vision applications for corrosion monitoring of industrial assets and pipes is a plus.• Experience in the latest computer vision frameworks for pre-trained models and transfer learning.• Experience in industrial automation use cases using computer vision AI.• Certification in AI / Data Analytics / Deep Learning is desired.• Experience in real-time (e.g., video, CCTV camera streams) video analytics pipeline.• Process or Power industry experience is desired.• Experience in cloud deployment platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is nice to have.• Good in documentation practices, writing reports, and project protocols.• High level of technical aptitude• Microsoft Office and technical presentation skills.Technical Skills & Competencies: Computer Vision Tools & Libraries:• OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, YOLO• Image and video processing, object detection, segmentation, pose estimation• Real-time CV systems, CCTV integration, RTSP stream processingCoding different object detection neural network architectures such as CNN, R-CNN, Fast R-CNN, Faster R-CNN, SSD, and YOLO.
