Over the last 18 years, company has supported Govt and civil society organisations in 140 projects in 22 states across the country in diverse areas of groundwater, springs, water quality and rural sanitation. The work and body of knowledge generated by partnerships has shaped policy narratives, launched national and state level programs while directly impacting the lives of over 6 million people. Climate change will primarily be felt by humanity through water. The impact of climate change on water resources will lead to reduced freshwater availability, alteration of rainfall patterns, rising sea levels and saltwater intrusion, degraded water quality, impact on sanitation & health resulting in huge socio-economic impacts. These will be felt primarily by the most poor and vulnerable population. There is an urgent need to work towards climate resilience with a focus on water, at scale.

Company's approach for achieving its vision is to work on strengthening government systems using technology to implement participatory water security programs at scale.

There is an exciting opportunity to participate in affecting societal impact at scale We are working on designing a unified, national technology infrastructure for the Government of India's National Jal Jeevan Mission. A Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) approach with common registries, common standards and open interoperable Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) will allow for innovation and choice of digital tools for states while allowing them to leverage the existing infrastructure and observability of on ground processes to all the stakeholders from the communities to the center.

About the Position :

This initiative will revolutionise the way states choose, build and innovate digital tools for achieving the JJM vision of safe sustainable domestic water to all rural households across the country.

You will lead the government partnerships and work closely with the various stakeholders to architect & design state-of-the-art services and APIs, build data registries and establish critical standards and specifications.

Role of the Senior Manager - Digital Infrastructure And Government Partnerships

1. Government Partnership Management

a. Act as the primary contact between Company and the department.

b. Understand and navigate government processes and protocols.

2. Technology Leadership :

a. Support the design of technology architecture for the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).

b. Support JJM in the defining registries & standards based and designing APIs to ensure system interoperability.

c. Design unified dashboards for JJM services by aligning different stakeholders

3. Evangelization :

a. Advocate for the adoption for building solutions on top of digital public infrastructure and adoption of the JJM Infrastructure by the states.

b. Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and conferences to raise awareness and support for the mission.

4. Stakeholder Engagement :

a. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, technology partners, and community leaders.

b. Building consensus between stakeholders through a consultative process.

5. Reporting and Documentation :

a. Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and government partners.

b. Document all aspects of project development and maintain comprehensive project records.

Skills :

To effectively fill the role of Senior Manager - Digital Infrastructure & Government Relations for the Jal Jeevan Mission, a candidate should possess a blend of technical, managerial and interpersonal skills.

Technical Skills :

- Technology Architecture Knowledge: Understanding of designing scalable and robust technology architectures. Familiarity with modern technology stacks, cloud services and enterprise systems.

- Understanding of creating and managing APIs for system interoperability.

- Skills in data handling, analysis, and interpretation to inform decision-making.

- Experience in implementing digital solutions in large-scale projects.

Managerial & Interpersonal Skills :

- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage complex projects.

- Ability to navigate government processes and build strong relationships with officials.

- Skills in engaging and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including technology partners and community leaders.

- Ability to negotiate and manage partnerships effectively.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Proficiency in preparing and presenting reports and proposals to various audiences.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 10- 15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology-focused position with government partnership experience.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a

related field.

- Strong understanding of technology architecture, design & API development

- Proven track record of managing government relationships and understanding of government protocols.

- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.

- Rural Development experience is desirable.
