As Scrum Master, you play a key role in the definition, development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of Agile practices (with an emphasis on Scrum) within the organization. You will facilitate sprint planning, retrospective, and daily activities related to stand-ups and sprint burn-down; as well as maintain relevant metrics that help the team see and understand their progress during a sprint. In this role, you'll own and resolve identified impediments. As Scrum Master, you're responsible for leading the continual Agile transformation and practices as well as promoting accountability and transparency across all levels of the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform the role of scrum master for one or more teams, leading multiple, simultaneous initiatives or medium complexity programs/releases.
  • Practices the core Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and practices continuous improvement.
  • Facilitates sprint demos, planning, and retrospectives
  • Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint/release progress
  • Provide status reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), schedule, resources, and milestone delivery.

Skills & Criteria:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is mandatory. Additional Agile or project management certifications are optional but beneficial.
  • Strong experience in Agile development methodologies, particularly in Scrum and SaFe frameworks.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Visio, and MS PowerBI for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Agility, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools for managing Agile artifacts and facilitating collaboration.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Business analytics skills and experience in product development are highly desirable.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on driving results and achieving project goals.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master for one or more teams, managing initiatives of large or medium complexity.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
  • 3-6 years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
  • A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
