The Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and inspiring Software Development Engineer Lead to join our growing team.

You will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring a team of talented developers, driving the successful delivery of complex software projects.

You will leverage your deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to ensure the team produces high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing development environment.

- Define technical vision, roadmaps, and architecture for assigned projects.

- Break down complex projects into manageable tasks and ensure efficient workflow.

- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers in their professional development.

- Participate in technical design discussions, identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e., product management, QA) to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

- Champion best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and version control.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in software development methodologies and technologies relevant to the team's domain.

- Participate in the recruitment and evaluation of new software development talent.

- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear and concise technical information.

- Contribute to the overall engineering culture by promoting innovation, continuous learning, and problem-solving.

Technical Skills (Required) :

- 10-15 years of experience in software development with a proven track record of leading and delivering successful projects.

- In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e., Agile, Waterfall).

- Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture patterns, and best practices.

- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e., Java, Python, C++).

- Experience with building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure software systems.

- Experience with version control systems (e., Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

- Familiarity with testing methodologies (unit testing, integration testing) and tools.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

- Adaptability to a fast-paced and ever-changing technological landscape

Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's Degree
