Role Overview:
We are looking for a SAP SAC Lead Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud and a strong foundation in financial planning and analysis (FP&A). The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end SAC implementations, design strategic analytics solutions, and work closely with senior finance stakeholders to deliver high-impact insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical and functional lead for all SAP SAC initiatives within the finance domain.
- Collaborate with CFOs, finance controllers, and business stakeholders to define reporting and planning needs.
- Design, architect, and implement advanced SAC dashboards, stories, and planning models.
- Lead and mentor a team of SAC consultants and developers across projects.
- Manage integration with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and other systems.
- Own project delivery, including requirement gathering, technical architecture, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure governance, performance, and scalability of SAC solutions.
- Drive innovation in reporting using predictive analytics, AI/ML, and advanced visualizations.
- Develop and enforce best practices, templates, and standards for SAC delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including SAC Planning and Reporting.
- Strong functional understanding of finance processes: budgeting, forecasting, P&L, cost center, and balance sheet reporting.
- Proven experience in leading SAC projects end-to-end, including stakeholder management.
- Deep knowledge of SAC architecture, including data modeling, scripting, and data actions.
- Expertise in integrating SAC with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, HANA Views, and non-SAP sources.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and deliver high-quality solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP BPC, Group Reporting, or other planning tools.
- SAP Certification in SAC Planning or Analytics.
- Experience in Agile/Hybrid delivery models and project governance frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud platform tools like SAP BTP or SAP Datasphere is a plus.
