System Security Administrator

Role:

This is an integral role that sits within the Pune Our Workplace team. The Pune Security Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and administering the Pune security systems; Stratus Server, Genetec and C-cure 9000 Access Control System (ACS) for Our Workplace. You will oversee and assure the account that Access Control, CCTV, IDS systems and supporting infrastructure is correctly delivered, managed and maintained on campus. Core to this is the ability to troubleshoot systems, including firewalls and networks through the supporting engineers, supporting operating systems and applications as well as general Windows server management – set up, configuration, support and trouble shooting. Once the campus is stabilised and fully operational you may also be required to oversee and manage the transition (at agreed sites) to Genetec and C-cure, support Ccure in a complex corporate environment both regionally and globally when/if required.

Duties & responsibilities:

Regional Account Technical Oversight, Management and Reporting:

1. Oversight and ‘ownership’ of the account security systems across the bp Pune

campus.

▪ In time oversight of the regional security systems JLL manages on the account .

▪ Identify and manage the security systems across the region what is within the account management scope and outside of it e.g. landlord provided and managed systems – support solutions to access necessary data where required e.g. visitor, lost and forgotten access cards as well as occupation data.

2. Visibly engaged and be well known in the workplace; always looking for opportunities to develop account relationships.

3. Work closely with the bp ISC Technical lead and respective regional ISC personnel.

4. Be prepared to support ad hoc security requirements as required.

Technical requirements:

1. Installation and support of Genetec and C-Cure solutions on campus and where required across the regional estate:

▪ Genetec – understand and know the technical attributes and requirements for the Genetec system:

▪ Oversee camera and archiver configuration.

▪ Plan Manager / Plan Manager Advanced.

▪ Events to action and monitoring.

▪ API/SDK integration with other applications such as C-Cure

▪ Mission control and federation knowledge.

2. Ccure – support the installation of and operations of Ccure:

▪ Trouble shoot installations, software and issue diagnosis’ with Software House.

▪ Support and oversight of all Ccure related peripheral items and requirements e.g. card holders, key cards etc.

▪ Device and User management, configuration etc.

▪ Support and oversee Ccure upgrades and server migration where needed.

▪ Trouble shoot server OS and patching issues.

▪ SQL server integration (not allowed to use SQL Express).

▪ SDK API integration with other applications – predominantly Genetec.

▪ Application windows services using AD service account.

3. Experience of supporting Ccure in a MAS/SAS environment:

▪ Joining SAS site to a MAS.

4. Network and Firewall trouble shooting – understand how the campus (and region’s) network engineers configure and support the hardware for the applications and devices to communicate across/through them:

▪ Ability to identify ports being used by the Ccure Server MAS/SAS/Client application (Read/Reference Ccure & Genetec Documentation).

▪ Ability to trouble shoot if ports are open from server to hardware, MAS, Client.

▪ General Windows Server setup and configuration, support and trouble shooting.

▪ In addition to this the ability to support OS and applications in a virtual environment and to identify and configure Windows Firewall to open ports will be noted as an added benefit.

Experience:

▪ Minimum 5 years security systems architecture and experience.

▪ Certified and extant Ccure and Genetec holder.

▪ Account experience preferred but not essential.

▪ Experience in a corporate environment is preferred, but not essential.

Skills:

▪ Technically astute and current in security system and controls.

▪ Certifications in Ccure (must) and Genetec enterprise.

▪ Network architecture competent.

▪ Proactive and approachable.

▪ Account focused approach.

▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate professionally at all levels.

▪ Meticulous with strong organizational and time management skills.

▪ Strong interpersonal skills and highly collaborative.
