As a Senior Developer/Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining API solutions using Apigee's powerful platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality APIs that drive innovation and enhance our digital products and services.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developersDesign, develop, and maintain complex API solutions using Apigee Developer Edge X Hybrid platformCollaborate with architects, developers, and product owners to define API strategies, standards, and best practicesLead the development and implementation of API policies, security measures, and performance optimizationsTroubleshoot and resolve complex API-related issuesContribute to the development and maintenance of API documentation and developer portalsStay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in API development and managementRequired Skills and Experience:Strong understanding of API development concepts, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectureDeep expertise in Apigee Developer Edge X Hybrid platform, including its core components and featuresExperience with API design and development methodologies (e.g., OpenAPI, Swagger)In-depth knowledge of API security best practices (e.g., OAuth, JWT, API keys)Experience with API performance optimization and testingStrong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or other relevant languagesExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to lead and motivate a teamPreferred Skills and Experience:Experience with API gateways and API management platforms other than ApigeeKnowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with API monetization and developer portalsExperience with API-driven application developmentBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work on challenging and innovative projectsLeadership and mentorship opportunitiesProfessional development and growth
