Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Description :
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
- Conduct manual testing activities including test case creation, execution, and defect reporting when necessary.
- Utilize Java programming skills to enhance and optimize automation frameworks and test scripts.
- Implement and maintain efficient data structures and algorithms utilizing the Collections Framework.
- Train team members on automation concepts, best practices, and tools.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster skill development and growth.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in automation testing and recommend innovative solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of testing strategies, methodologies, and standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language, including knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and the Collections Framework.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies and tools.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality automation solutions within deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in training and mentoring team members on automation testing concepts and tools is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Selenium, or Java are a plus
