Job Scope:

The Head of Procurement & Asset Management will be responsible for devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies, discovering profitable suppliers and initiating procurement partnerships, negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms and managing all Audit Compliance, post-delivery tasks and tracking deliveries. He will also be responsible for Material Management and movement In & Out of Yotta Premises.


Job Responsibilities

  • Overall responsible for Purchasing and Cost Estimating activities across the Business Units for all IT & Non-IT requirements, including infrastructure build projects.
  • Create and implement best practice purchasing vision, strategy, policies,processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance.
  • Responsible for managing relationships and negotiating with key supplier sat a senior and strategic level.
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
  • Develop an overall vendor base which creates and sustains a competitive advantage utilizing global market exploitation, leveraging spends and newer technologies.
  • Coach, mentor and develop direct repartees and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions.
  • Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy.
  • Follow & commit with Yotta’s Policy statements (e.g. QMS/EMS/OHS/ISMS/ITSM/BCMS/EnMS etc.)
  • Undertake applicable training as communicated from time to time.
  • Understand the organization’s expectations towards all management systems the company is certified for.
  • Participation in Risk assessment process and contributes to achieving departmental & management system objectives.
  • Adhere to confidentiality policy to safeguard sensitive company information, maintain trust with clients and partners, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Perform their duties in the event of emergency as per roles in ERP/BCMSplan.


Must Have Skills:

  • Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to understand and negotiate deals of any size at all levels. Preferably at a data center company.
  • Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
  • Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

Graduate or Diploma (Preferably Engineering) with 20+ years of overall experience with 8+ years of Procurement experience in a mid-size to large organization.
