Qualification:

  • B.Tech in Materials management, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Experience with SAP, TM1, and procurement systems.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IMS, SHE, and sustainability practices.


Key Responsibilities:

Purchase & Planning

  • Organize and control purchase activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and CPC for timely procurement.
  • Conduct techno-commercial evaluations and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to understand and fulfill requirements.

Procurement & Vendor Development

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and cost-effective sourcing.
  • Identify and develop alternate vendors to improve quality and reduce costs.
  • Monitor vendor performance and maintain documentation as per SOP.

Lead Time Reduction & MIS

  • Minimize procurement lead times through effective follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate records in SAP and TM1.
  • Prepare and submit MIS reports to management.

Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote awareness.
  • Conduct safety rounds and report incidents.
  • Participate in safety committees and sustainability initiatives.

System Management

  • Implement improvement projects and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Maintain model areas and support internal audits.
  • Ensure compliance with IMS and other system requirements.
