Documentum Engineer

Minimum years of experience 4+ Years working experience in IT Operations discipline

Required:

- Experience with enterprise content management solutions, especially Documentum 16.4 and higher

- Good Knowledge of Linux Server

- Experience in IT architectures based on Unix/Linux OS

Minimum qualification required Matric + Qualification:

- Degree / Diploma in Information Technology or alternatively, a qualification related to hardware configuration and technical support

Location : Chennai

General job description :

- Maintenance and Support tasks of the Enterprise Content Management solution

- Documentum including Documentum Server, JMS, TCS, IDS, CTS, Thumbnail, CS4SAP, xPlore

- Documentum roles and rights model

- Perform all tasks in a 100% agile manner according to the agile guidelines agreed by the department.

- Awareness of agile roles defined within the environment.

- Maintaining a high awareness of user needs regarding Documentum management requirements.

- Keeping knowledge about underlying BMW infrastructure master solutions, e.g Unix, Storage.

- Interacting with other IT architects as needed to ensure fitting infrastructure solutions

Generic Technical / Functional skills:

- Knowledge of Documentum alt. another enterprise content management solution

- Documentum at least 7.2 and higher including: xPlore, Documentum Server, JMS, TCS, IDS, CTS, Thumbnail, CS4SAP, DA

- Documentum interface technologies (DFC, WDK, REST)

Knowledge:

- Database technologies - Oracle / Postgres

Basic Knowledge of the following:

- Windows Server Administration

- Operation Tools: CMDB, Connect-IT, myBMWIT

- ITSM - BMC Remedy Ticketing tool

Note - Need some for admin configuration/production support experience
