About the Role:

The Department of Computer Engineering & Applications, under the Institute of Engineering & Technology, GLA University, Greater Noida, invites applications from dynamic, passionate, and committed academicians for the position of Assistant Professor – Computer Engineering & Applications (CEA).


The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, research, and academic excellence, and possess the ability to inspire and mentor students in diverse areas of Computer Science and Engineering. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction, contributing to curriculum development, engaging in scholarly research, and collaborating on departmental initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and industry-academia partnerships.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and insightful lectures.
  • Conducting high-quality research and publishing in reputed journals.
  • Mentoring and supervising students in academic and research activities.
  • Contributing to curriculum development and academic administration.
  • Engaging in interdisciplinary collaborations to enhance the learning experience.


Areas of Expertise:

  • AI/ML, DBMS, CO & OS, Data Engineering & Python, Cloud Computing & DevOps, Full Stack (Flask / Django)


Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science or have submitted their Ph.D. thesis.
  • A strong academic background with M.Tech. and B.Tech is required
  • A strong research profile demonstrated through publications in SCI or Scopus-indexed (non-paid) journals will be a significant plus.


Experience Required:

  • 4 to 8 years of teaching experience in academia.
