Position Overview :

As a DevOps Lead at Valor Paytech, you will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of our DevOps processes and tools. This role involves close collaboration with software developers, system operators, and IT professionals to streamline software development and deployment, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance overall efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to ensure successful project delivery.

- Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate and enhance software delivery.

- Oversee and monitor infrastructure and cloud resources to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.

- Implement and maintain configuration management tools for automated infrastructure provisioning and management.

- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues.

- Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve DevOps processes.

- Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Automate and orchestrate workloads on AWS.

- Utilize configuration/deployment management systems such as Terraform and Ansible.

- Manage version control and git workflows.

- Leverage automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency.

- Lead the design and development of deployment processes for various projects.

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple integration and test environments.

- Install, configure, and manage CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.

- Install, configure, and manage automated testing tools within the environment.

Qualifications :

Required Skills and Experience :

- 10+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

- 10+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD orchestrator tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or similar.

- Proven experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

- Proficiency with source code repository tools like GitLab or GitHub.

- Experience in building installation packages using RPM and Yum.

- 3+ years of professional software development experience.

- Strong proficiency with Linux systems, including CentOS 7 and RHEL 7/8.

- Proven ability to create automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, and JSON.

- Experience with AWS services, including but not limited to Terraform, EC2, S3, VPC, KMS, and IAM.

- Hands-on experience with scripting and configuration management tools.
